EMPLOYEE POLICY

  • Maintain a working environment which is safe though implementation of our Health, Safety and Environment Policy

  • View the maintenance of good labour relations as an integral part of our business, conducting constructive communications with individuals and representatives and providing fair grievance procedures
  • Support progressive indigenisation of all workforces and employ expatriates only when necessary
  • Develop our staff by providing training and development opportunities
  • Support the rights of employees to collective bargaining
  • Promote the participation of women in what has traditionally been viewed as a male-dominated industry
  • Employ and promote employees on the basis of merit while upholding legislation in regions that aim to benefit historically disadvantaged groups
  • Pay our employees a fair wage
  • Maintain a working environment free of drugs and alcohol
  • Consult and communicate with employees, providing support if appropriate, if the company undergoes substantial organisation change
